Sugo Caffe Italia

Located minutes from downtown in the heart of historic Inglewood, Sugo Caffé Italia opened in November 2001 to offer the great Italian tradition of generous hospitality and a quality dining experience–at the table and in the glass. Our philosophy is simple – use the best and freshest local ingredients as simply as possible and serve them with love. Chef/owner Angelo Contrada creates a new menu every day inspired by what is available from local producers and markets. Freshness & seasonal ingredients is of the utmost importance. Sugo comprises two rooms each with a unique feel and a dining bar. The formal dining room has the wine bar as a backdrop and has an understated elegance while the lounge dining area has a more New York feel with the bar as a focal point and a long banquet-style seating area to accommodate larger groups. The bar can sit a further eight people comfortably for dinner. When available the lounge area is set informally for customers to enjoy wine or cocktails.
