Had a great time with Fergus, Mike and the staff. A pleasure to be with and look forward to Saturday night. A great after work bar near the Bloor Subway Line and close to lots of streetcars.
Haven't seen any of the unique beers on tap without going downtown to the bigger "corporate" places. This is a unique friendly experience, the only real English style Gastro Pub complete with the accents. The pot pie is my all time favourite, always a new offering never the same pie with my English Premiere League Soccer to boot!
The new menu is great. Lobster Poutine, daily pot pies, grilled cheese, fish and chips, curry chips. The beers on tap all imported. My personal fav is the Pear Cider. The staff is amazing and always greets you upon entering. This is Toronto's hidden gem.
Had dinner their recently,,WOW! Then moved to the Pub/Bar out back for a night cap. Scotch selection was great. Even stepped out to their back patio for few minutes, again really cool. Service was great, and being able to talk to the chef with their open kitchen was an added touch of class. We will be back and were told their new fall menu is coming very soon, I look forward to trying it out.
Spent last Saturday afternoon at this place on Roncesvalles on the recommendation of a friend. I am a huge premiership fan and of course ENGLAND!!!! Used to go to Scally's. NO LONGER!!!!$20 at door (same as Scallywags) but was treated like a king!!. Great game, $5.25 premium imported pints!!!! Great breakfast. Nice to see someone actually giving some value to those of us interested in the Beautiful Game. Thanks Boho and more importantly The Liver-bird Pub and Patio in the back!! GREAT JOB.
