Simon Sushi

On the cover of Simon Sushi's James-Joyce-Ulysses-sized menu, there is a photo of head chef Simon Au holding a large bamboo tray packed with -- if my counting skills are still sharp -- roughly 1.6 million pieces of maki. He's grinning and, with his free hand, giving you and me (and also everyone with the physical capability to eat food) an enthusiastic thumb up. The auto-endorsement-via-opposable-digit seems prematurely self-congratulatory, considering the fact that Au is clearly not reinventing the wheel with his menu offerings (he would need two more free hands for that).
