Kamasutra Indian Restaurant & Wine Bar

The enticing aroma of curries and baking nann drew me to Kama Sutra like Toucan Sam. Upon entry, it became immediately apparent that this uptown restaurant was dressed to impress. Simple, elegant décor featuring French styling with Indian accents recalls a colonial retreat. Seeing prawns on the menu (a personal favourite) - with a variety of options for curry accompaniment - I knew my heart had been won. Having a penchant for the English tradition of ale or lager with curry, I was also surprised to find an impressive selection of beers on tap, neatly rounding out the offerings. Spice up your date, and you might just find yourself in some interesting positions.

I have eaten at Kamasutra about 3 times now, every time service was excellent, food was great and ambience was very romantic. Not the cheapest Indian in town, but not the most expensive either. Definately a great date restaurant, and would eat there again (when I can afford it).
