Avant Goût is one of those worst-kept-secret kinda places we've never bothered to visit, though some obviously did, as it's been around for close to five years. When it was nestled comfortably on Birch Avenue, a quiet, out-of-the-way street in Rosedale, chef/owner Kamal Hani was known for his unpretentious bistro fare in a 'hood that really likes its haunts.
